Weather Looks excellent for 2011 Food, Fireworks, Music AND MORE on the Allegheny River, Kinzua Lake, and Downtown Warren PA
The forecast for Friday July 1 and Saturday July 2 for the Warren PA area is sunny and clear in the low 80's. Sunday July 3 and Monday July 4 are expected to be partly cloudy in the mid 80's, so the potential for this being a great weekend are pretty good. For weather updates, try this link.
A number of groups are sponsoring great opportunities for families to celebrate our nation's birth, including Kinzua Marina, Downtown Warren, and the Warren JayCees.
Fireworks schedule: there are two public displays scheduled:
Friday, July 1 from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Kinzua Marina on Kinzua Lake on Kinzua Road (Route 59). Parking is not unlimited so it is recommended to arrive quite early, unless you have a boat in the water. While you are there don't miss the BOAT SHOW from July 1 to July 4 or the craft vendors setting up their displays on Saturday and Sunday.
Sunday, July 3 from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., Concert and Fireworks at Betts Park on Ludlow Street. This is the one that most people come to town to see and from which the photos on this page were taken. This is an all-day affair in the city's largest recreational park. Fireworks start at 10 p.m., but if you want to get a good parking space in the grass you should arrive several hours early. Thousands and thousands attend this every year.
There will be plenty to do all day with live music performances and multiple food vendors. Featured Bands are Trixx and Earthquakers.
64th Annual 4th of July Parade to be held on Monday, July 4:
11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring a chair. Along Pennsylvania Avenue. This year's theme is "Honoring Hometown Heroes.
Saturday July 2 to Sunday July 3:
Street Fair and Outdoor Rock Concert on Liberty Street in Downtown Warren PA:
The Liberty Rocks Music Street Festival starts at noon on Saturday and runs until 2 a.m. Sunday. Bands scheduled to perform are

The Struthers Library Theater presents, "The Best of ARTE!" 54 Warren County young people are presently taking part in a three weeks musical theatre program at the theatre that culminates in a mainstage performance! July 1st at 7:30. Tickets are $10. ad & $8. sen. & stu. and are available at the theatre office or at the door. Great songs from some of the best musicals will be performed!

Previous year's fireworks were spectacular
The fireworks are sponsored by Kwik Fill gas stations, Northwest Savings Bank, Whirley DrinkWorks, Kinzua Country 104.3, Radio Station WNAE, and 92 Gold--WRRN radio station. The 4th of July weekend with festivities starting on Friday, July 3, are sponsored by the Warren Jaycees.
