My Opinion
Country First is the slogan at the top of the McCain for President campaign web site. And the first job of our nation's government is military defense. And never before has a candidate with such a military legacy received the nomination of his party. John McCain's father was a Navy Admiral and the McCain family has contributed its sons to the American military all the way back to the Revolutionary War.
With talk of new museums in Starbrick, Tionesta, and even one on Hatch Run Road you'd think the idea of recreating the past was something people around here just discovered. Legends restaurant on Jackson Avenue Extension across the city line in Glade Township has been delivering historic ambiance for more than 15 years.
