Proper Handling of Poison Ivy

I have a lot of respect for Poison Ivy. We have both the ground poison ivy and the type that climbs up the trees.

When we first moved to the property I knew Poison Ivy was here but it didn’t seem to affect me so I didn’t worry about it. But after having several breakouts and watching this invasive plant spread I have a new found respect for this plant and really don’t want it on the property.

Jamestown and Warren Democrats kick off Fall Presidential Campaign

Warren Democrats last week held an organizational meeting for the local Presidential campaign with Democratic Co-Chairperson Karen Davis and County Commissioner President John Eggleston in attendance. The group agreed to continue a voter registration drive and will have an information booth at the Warren County Fair to be held August 5-9 in Pittsfield.
