If you were Amish you might hitch up your carriage early tomorrow morning and ride down to the Warren Mall where the Dollar General Store is having a sale. The store manager told me today that the store is closing and I can only imagine how inexpensive things will be, or how they could be any less expensive than they are already.
This could be a good time to stock up on items you use all the time this summer or even get supplies to hold you over for winter. With forecasts of inflationary prices you might even ride out the current economic slump a little better if you didn't have to run out unexpectedly for odds and ends of which the dollar store has an ample supply. Paper products such as plates, towels, diapers and bathroom tissue, and other items, possibly detergents, and food may go on sale next week as Dollar General is liquidating its entire contents.
