The worst thing that can happen on a farm is a barn fire. But that won't stop a local therapeutic horseback riding ranch from hosting an open house this Saturday on May 31 near Russell, PA. A May 16 fire
destroyed the main barn there but no one was hurt and all the horses are safe.
The ranch will hold its annual horse show on May 31 in its outdoor arena. It is located in rural north Warren County not far from Eisenhower High School. Turn leftup Thomspon Hill Road just before you reach the school on Route 957.
Events run from 11 a.m. through 6 p.m. Kids can watch barrel racing, egg racing on horseback and more fun activities sponsored by Double Rainbow. Weather forecast for the event is 76 degrees with slight chance of thunderstorms.
